This Torii Gate standing on the water of Lake Ashi is called Heiwa-no-torii (Torii of Peace), located in Hakone, Kanagawa. After the World War II, Japan came to the idea of building memorials, like in Hiroshima, as a sign of peace. The Heiwa-no-torii is more on a dedicated monument to the agreement of Peace with Japan.
Taking pictures while standing inside the floating Torii Gate is one of the most scenic trips in Tokyo. It feels like you are standing at the gate that separates the living and the dead (an anime feels). :))
The Lake Ashi is considered as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. It has a temperature of 13-16 even in summer, so if you are thinking of swimming in Lake Ashi, think twice. :)) You can also rent a paddling boat so you can reach the floating Torii gate by lake.
From where I stood (left photo) is a view of the floating Torii gate from afar. Unfortunately, Mount Fuji is covered by clouds, but if not, you will see it as a nice background when you zoom in your camera close to the floating Torii gate.
