Tokyo Prefecture: Tokyo MidTown and Roppongi Hills Winter Illumination | Minato City

Tokyo Midtown (a city within a city in the center of Roppongi district) is located in Akasaka, Minato City, Tokyo, Japan. We considered visiting the place as it has Winter Illumination spots. 

Winter Illumination in Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills are one of Tokyo’s best Winter Illumination spots.

Keyakizaka is the most known place for Winter Illumination in Roppongi. Trees beside the street are covered with hundreds of thousands of LEDs transitioning to different colors at night. You will have a view of the Tokyo Tower which is a good spot to take long exposure shots to capture the spectacular Winter Illumination. 

Roppongi has another Winter Illumination and it is within Tokyo Midtown. This is the Starlight Garden which is located behind the main tower's park. This garden attracts many tourist due to its multiple illuminations.

While we were in Tokyo Midtown, we bumped into the Corporate Building of Konami.
