This is a shop in Gion District called ‘Issen Yosyoku’ that is famous for their Okonomiyaki. Their storefront will catch your attention as it has a statue of a dog chasing a boy pulling down his pants. Some say the boy is a Okonomiyaki thief.
As we walked along the Gion district, we saw this Sakura mochi. I did not know that Sakura Leaf is edible that time. :)) Tastes a bit bitter but not that bad.
You will not miss the Kyoto Marui, it is one of the most important commercial facilities in Kyoto.
Statue of Izumo no Okuni, founder of Kabuki theater, located close to Shijo Bridge.
Kabuki is a classical Japanese dance-drama where performers wear spectacular costume with stylish make-up.
Some of the few pictures while in Gion District.
