The Sensoji (Asakusa Kannon Temple) is Tokyo’s oldest temple (ancient Buddhist temple) located in Asakusa. It is one of the famous tourist destination and also crowded place in Tokyo.

Nakamise is one of the famous attractions in Asakusa. It is a shopping street that connects the main gate of the temple and main hall. From souvenirs shops, street food, to unique items that you will only see in Japan.

This is the Temple’s purification fountain featuring ancient dragon statues, built to clean your hands and mouth. Based on my research, the water is not recommended for drinking (not a fountain of youth).
