Hyogo Prefecture: The Kobe Port Tower – Steel Tower Beauty

The Kobe Port Tower is one of the landmarks in the port city of Kobe, Japan. It also serves as the symbol of the Port of Kobe. It gives a picture-perfect view at nighttime with different angles as you wander around the port. The place is located near the Meriken Park, the Kobe Port Tower is just a 10-minute walk from Motomachi Station. 

This Kobe Port Tower, also known as 'Steel Tower Beauty' because of its shape, was completed in 1963 by Nikken Sekkei Company which is the same company who built the Tokyo Skytree. The tower's shape is like a lengthened Japanese hand drum which is an unusual unique shape in the entire world.
It was a very cold night with slightly strong wind when we explore the port of Kobe. We reached the place around 9:00 PM so most of the stores and shops are already closed. All we could do is walk around, experience the sea breeze, and take a photo of the towering landmark of Kobe. 

It was just another great night to chill and experience the beauty of Port Kobe at nighttime.
