The Kōfukuji Temple is a Buddhist temple located in the city of Nara, Japan. It was once one of the powerful Seven Great Temples and used to be the family temple of the Fujiwara clan (the most powerful aristocratic clan during the Nara and Heian Periods). Beside the temple is a five-storied pagoda which is Japan's second tallest wooden pagoda.
It was raining hard when we reached the temple and that made our camera lenses a bit cloudy due to moist. Here are the pictures taken within the area of Kōfukuji Temple.
While at JR Nara Station.
